Make-Up Monday: Halloween Looks

Halloween is almost here and if you're at a lose of what you want to be here are two fun and creative make-up looks for you to try out!

VAMPIRE:

I wanted to do one that was a little more of a darker look so I opted for a vampire-esque one.

I wanted to really play up the eyes by doing a red smokey eye where I used a dark red blush I had across the eye and then added some black eyeshadow across the crease of the eye and blended that in evenly.

I then went with a dramatic cat eye and added an inner cat eye as well! I finished the look with eye lashes and red lipstick, I was going to go for a black lip but opted for a dark red instead.

MERMAID:

For my second look I wanted to have a lot of fun and be creative, plus I knew I wanted to go with a lighter color palette for this look in comparison to the vampire look.

I went with purples, blues, and greens to create this look because with my red hair I was thinking The Little Mermaid!
First I started with the eyes and wanted them in contrast to the scales that were going to be an ombre of blue to green. I opted for a purple color with a little blue along the bottom lash line and in my eyebrows.

Next I added the scales using a stencil I got from a Wet n' Wild Halloween make-up kit called Mesmerizing Mermaid. I started at the top near my hair line blending the color with a brush downward to get the ombre look then adding green on the bottom.

Last was my lips and I also wanted to do an ombre look from purple to blue. I started by lining my lips with two separate colors and shading until about half way through, I applied my lipsticks and added a lighter purple color in the middle of both lips.

I finished the look with starfish hair pieces I got from Amazon for only $5!
