Another Make-Up Monday here and I'm featuring my favorite Fall to Winter lip shades!
All these shades are fairly similar in color but they are all very different in how they feel and wear! I've introduced a few of these shades in my previous Fall inspired Make-Up Monday posts, but here is a few more favorites!
LIP SHADES
- Revlon Super Lustrous Creme Lipstick 477 Black Cherry
- Revlon Super Lustrous Shine Lipstick 850 Plum Velour
- Revlon Super Lustrous Creme Lipsticks 637 Blushing Nude
- Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme 36 Magnetic
- NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream 20 Copenhagen
- NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream 21 Transylvania
When I first started really wearing lipstick a few years ago I started with wearing Revlon because I like the quality of Revlon and it was not too expensive. Revlon wears very light on the lips, it feels like I am wearing chapstick which I love. The cremes wear longer throughout the day than the shines, but the Revlon Super Lustrous Shine Lipstick 850 Plum Velour adds a nice pop of color while keeping your lips a fairly neutral tone if you don't want to go for a more dramatic look.
Lip Shades 1-3
The last 3 shades are definitely for a more dramatic look and are great for those holiday parties coming up! I would highly recommend hydrating your lips prior to applying the lip creams because since they are all mattes they can leave your lips feeling dry.
The Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme in Magnetic is dramatic with a lot of shimmer that does not wear off, it is definitely the longest lasting of all 6 colors! The two NYX shades are my top favorites plus they are cruelty free! They are long lasting and a lot more comfortable to wear through out the day compared to the Milani lip creme.
