My family moved to the PWN the week I turned 13 and see myself as a Pacific Northwestern now having lived here for 16 years, but it is always refreshing to get back to my roots in Southern California.
This day of our vacation was a lot of fun getting to spend alone time with my best friend of 20 years and her husband! We started the day by first checking out this vegan Mexican restaurant in West Hollywood called Gracias Madre.
We enjoyed some margaritas and appetizers, just catching up. Gracia Madre has a very cool vibe, very much modern meets chic with its simple black and white decor. Although it was pretty busy and loud it is definitely a spot I suggest checking out just for their food alone!
After eating we decided to be tourists and check out Bronson cave which is the original location of the Batman cave and the perfect little hike. The hike brings you out from the cave with an awesome view of the Hollywood sign, we definitely were not disappointed.
It was an amazing day spent creating endless memories and laughter! We ended the day with a drive through Hollywood while enjoying an evening with great friends and chinese food!
