A few months back I pre-ordered a copy of The First Mess cookbook by Laura Wright and it had finally come to my door step, chalk full of amazing and delicious vegan meals for all seasons! I was super excited because I have been following The First Mess on Instagram for years! Her beautiful images and simple recipes have always made the non-vegan like myself want to not only make and try the foods but to also continue living a healthier lifestyle.
Then recently Brandon and I went to Barnes and Noble, only a few days after receiving The First Mess, to pick up a few reads and I came across The Forest Feast by Erin Gleeson! This is a vegetarian cookbook that I had meant to get years ago. I knew I finally had to get it to add to my small collection of healthier cookbooks I had been growing. I am so excited I did because it has tons of beautiful foods and even beverages for any fun get together!
All recipes in both books are fresh, delicious, and rustic! They are a must have for meat eaters and non-meat eaters alike!
