I wanted to enjoy sunshine, ocean air, and time with friends and family in California for my first week in my 30s. The last time I was in California in May it was for sad and unfortunate circumstances for my Grandma's memorial service, and I wanted to go back and have a great time.
Although I had to work while I was there I still got to spend plenty of time with those I love. I was fortunate enough to attend my best friend's graduation for her Bachelor's! She is an incredibly hard working, creative entrepreneur, wife, and momma to 2 incredible kids and it was wonderful to celebrate together on such an accomplished day.
The next day we had plans to go whale watching at Newport Beach at Balboa Pier! Unfortunately we didn't see any whales but we did see a huge pod of dolphins and even baby dolphins! Near the end of the boat ride the clouds had finally started burning off and it turned into a beautiful day with the deep blue and turquoise tones of the sea shining through. It was a great trip with great food, coffee, and even better company!
