Fall in Bellingham

This last weekend Brandon and I took a drive up to Bellingham for the day to do an engagement shoot for great friends and spend time with them!

The spot for the engagement session was in Ferndale at Hovander Homestead Park and it was perfectly fall here!

The trees were vivid and the weather was chilly but comfortable with no rain! The park had so many cute parts from an apple orchard, a flower garden, and a huge red barn! It was an amazing spot! Brandon and I even took some photos together because it was so pretty!

After we were done taking photos we headed back into Bellingham, grabbed a quick bite, and then walked around the farmer's market. I fell in love with this farmer's market! It was one of the biggest farmer's markets I've been to. I love farmer's markets for the variety of fresh flowers, fruits, vegetables, and hand made art, I wish we lived closer!

We grabbed some coffee from Woods Coffee and headed to Fairhaven to check out all the fun shops throughout. Fairhaven is such a fun and authentic town. I loved the variety of different themed shops and the college feel throughout the Bellingham area, keeping it feeling young.

Finally we relaxed for a few hours before heading back home that evening. It's such a rejuvenating experience to get away for a day and go somewhere completely new and experience everything the town has to offer.

I highly suggest planning your Fall getaway!
