DIY: Lavender Make-Up Remover Wipes

The first Make-Up Monday is here, featuring DIY lavender make-up remover wipes! I'll be showing you how to make them right in the comfort of your own home!

My nightly routine, especially on those nights when I'm extra sleepy, usually include make up wipes because lets be real, they're super convenient! Plus if you're like me and have sensitive skin it can be hard to find the right products that won't irritate or dry out your skin and are all natural.

INGREDIENTS:

  1. One 4oz mason jar
  2. Cotton pads
  3. 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  4. 1 teaspoon of unscented castile soap
  5. Distilled water
  6. 2-4 drops of essential oils, your choice! I went with lavender because it's great for your skin!

STEP 1: Get your ingredients together.

STEP 2: Mix the coconut oil, castile soap, and essential oil in a small bowl and stir.

STEP 3: Pour about half the mixture into your mason jar. Place your cotton pads into the jar and then pour the rest of the mixture on top. Then press down on the pads so the mixture can absorb evenly.

STEP 4: Pour the distilled water over the pads, just enough to wet the pads. The amount of water really depends on preference.

STEP 5: Place the lid on and shake the jar, this will help distribute the mixture evenly throughout the wipes.

Now your wipes are ready to use and they smell great! Enjoy!
